Rocky Mountain Classical Academy Preschool Program
We recognize that your child’s education is of upmost importance, and choosing the right program is a HUGE decision. Our early education programs offer exceptional guidance in hands-on learning from licensed early childhood professionals using world-class curriculum and enrichment activities.
We also understand the many needs of working parents. Our Before Care, After Care, and Summer Care options enable parents to go off to work with the knowledge and assurance their children are not only being cared for but that they are safe, happy, and thriving.
We believe that communication and partnership with parents are vital to creating the best possible environment for each child, from daily pictures and consistent feedback to community events.
Preschool
Where Curiosity Turns into Lifelong Learning
Our preschool program is filled with hand-on learning through investigation, exploration, and discovery where energetic and passionate children can cultivate their skills and knowledge. Through intentional, age-appropriate learning activities, purposefully designed learning environment, and teachers using best practices, children will experience the joy and excitement of learning, leading them to become successful students for years to come.
Our Core Knowledge curriculum compliments our firm belief in learning through play and hands-on experiences. This prepares young children for academic success by building foundational language and literacy skills. Students participate in engaging read alouds, self-choice center time, arts and crafts, music and movement, building and constructing, fine and gross motor skills development, nature appreciation, interactive mathematics, science and community, and much, much more. We are committed to meeting families’ expectations of education excellence, helping students grow into confident and inspired learners.
Here at RMCA, our preschool educational philosophy is for children to learn through discovery. Our licensed and experienced early childhood professionals create classroom-specific, hands-on activities based on the evolving interests and developmental needs of their students. By differentiating our daily curriculum based on the unique needs of your child, teachers are able to prepare every student for success, for the present and future.
Before Care/ After Care
We are committed to serving our community, and know that parent’s working hours don’t always align with typical school hours. For families that need that extra bit of time in the mornings and/or evenings we do offer before and after care where your child will be cared for and engaged in fun activities by their teachers.
Summer Program
Welcoming students to join us for summer fun, friends, and exploration!
Throughout the summer children will be encouraged to expand their skills and knowledge through engaging and exciting activities and adventures! We will have many different outdoor activities paired with a different theme to explore each week. Summer activities will encourage students to explore science, discover nature and engage in the creative arts. All the while providing opportunities for them to engage in friendships, participate in character building, and establish a life-long love of learning! Weekly summer themes include:
